It was a bad start to a good day and it all started when I got to school and a keep out danger sign was up on our classroom door. I was really confused. But soon Harry was there and told me everything. So it was this pipe and it goes through our cloak bay to the toilets, but this time it did not reach the toilets! It burst out and our classroom was soaking. But here is the good part.
On Monday the 2nd of November the middle team went to the Auckland observatory for a trip. First we ate our morning tea outside the observatory and had a big play on the playground. It was an awesome playground.
Next we lined up and went inside. There were planet models and pictures of space everywhere. Then we went into the planetarium were we watched a movie called tilt it was about the seasons. The seasons depend on the tilt of the world. When the movie was finished we talked about the constellations of the stars.
Next we had 20 minutes to look around. I looked at the suits that they wear first. Then I looked at the planet models I liked Saturn the best.
Then we all went into this room were this man told us about how the sun and the moons light get to earth. He even talked about the gravity in space and he showed us a video about how to brush your teeth in space. It looked very hard.
Finally we went back outside and ate our lunch together and had another play. I really loved our day and I did learn a lot about space.
